CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Portuguese Society for Research in Music invites the submission of proposals for ENIM 2022, the 11th Meeting of Research in Music, to be held at the Department of Communication and Arts of the University of Aveiro on November 10-12, 2022.

The call is now open for original submissions, in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, on all relevant topics within the scope of music and sound research, for three presentation modes: (1) paper presentations, (2) thematic panels of 3 to 4 presenters, and (3) lecture-performances. The proposals should include information on: background; research questions; aims; content description; and artistic and/or research significance.

Proposals should not include identification information, and will be blind-reviewed by the scientific committee.


Proposals can be submitted through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=enim2022) until June 30, 2022, according to the following presentation formats:

Paper presentations: submissions should include a summary (up to 500 words), and 3 to 5 keywords. The sessions will last for 20 minutes, with 10 minutes for discussion.

Panel proposals: submissions should include a general summary (up to 500 words) and individual proposals (up to 500 words each), and 3 to 5 keywords. Panels should last 1 hour and 30 minutes, including discussion. The general summary should be submitted in the abstract field of EasyChair, and the individual abstracts (without identification data) as an pdf file in the attachments field.

Lecture-performances: submissions should include a summary (up to 500 words), and 3 to 5 keywords. Authors may also submit performance-related contents (such as audio and/or video recordings of preliminary work). The sessions will last for 30 minutes, with 10 minutes for discussion.


Each proponent can only submit one proposal (including individual submissions and panels).

Authors can include a pdf file with their technical requirements, contents related with lecture-performance proposals, references, graphic contents, links, or other relevant items.
